Chinese Blue and White Small Porcelain Pot with Lid — Qianlong Mark
£16.00 GBP
Taxes included.
The base is stamped with a six character Qianlong Emperor seal mark reading as 'Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi', which translates to 'Made during the Qianlong Reign of the Great Qing Dynasty'. Although the Qianlong emperor ruled in the 1700s, the blue crisp style of these markings, and the smooth finish of the blue and white glaze, suggests this is a modern porcelain reproduction made between 1980–90s.
Ideal as a decorative pair for shelves, mantelpieces, or sideboards, or as a thoughtful gift for collectors.
Good vintage condition with no chips. There is a hairline crack that travels from top to bottom on one side, which looks to just be on the surface.
Dimensions: 6cm x 8cm x 8cm.
From the Haus: An intriguing blue-and-white piece with a Qianlong-style mark and a story worth knowing before you buy — see condition notes above.
