Kaye + Clay

Kaye + Clay

Kaye + Clay is a small ceramic lighting studio based in Yorkshire, creating handmade lamps that explore colour, light, texture, and form.

Her pieces that sit somewhere between functional design and little works of art.

Every lamp is made by hand, celebrating the lovely imperfections and individuality that come with working slowly with clay. The forms are playful but considered, with gorgeous glazes, textures and details that make each one feel completely unique.

These aren’t the sort of lamps that quietly disappear into a room. They’re pieces you build a little corner around, as beautiful switched off in the daytime as they are glowing at night.

And behind Kaye + Clay is a genuinely wonderful maker who cares enormously about every piece she sends out into the world.

WHY THEY’RE IN THE HAUS

Because lighting can completely change how a room feels, and I love pieces that do more than simply serve a purpose.

I wanted the Haus to be full of objects that make you stop, pick them up, look a little closer and ask who made them. Kaye + Clay’s lamps do exactly that.

They’re handmade, full of personality and just the right amount of wonky everything I want Juicehaus to celebrate.

It also helps that Kaye is an absolute gem. She personally brought the collection to the Haus, helped me unpack every piece and has been so supportive of this slightly bonkers little idea from the beginning.

I’m very, very happy to have Kaye + Clay in the Haus.
